Ann's Microwave Butternut Squash
1. Pierce the squash and microwave in a baking dish on HIGH until it softens slightly.
2. Peel the squash and cut it into chunks.
3. Place the squash chunks back into microwave dish and add 1/2 inch of water and 2 T butter.
4. Microwave on HIGH for about ten minutes, or until soft.
5. When squash is done, remove from microwave and pour off about half of the water.
6. Splash real maple syrup on the squash and stir.
