In my records, I note that I got this recipe from Jennifer, in 2002. That must have been after my second glass of wine, as I didn't record Jennifer's last name. I can't even think of who "Jennifer" might be. If the Jennifer who gave me this recipe ever discovers it here, please email me.
This is a good recipe for diabetics or vegetarians.
Dutch Cabbage
2 tart apples, chopped,
1 small head purple cabbage thin sliced,
8 oz raspberry sugar free jam
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar,
2 T soy sauce
1 tsp grated fresh ginger,
3 cloves garlic, minced.
Simmer all the ingredients for about an hour.
