I made this in January when expecting guests. It works particularly well for guests, because there is the leftover turkey for sandwiches or a casserole later.

 

The recipe is from Ann Tannenbaum, my walking partner three days a week. On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays we walk to an exercise class and walk back home. We chat on the way, and exchange menus and recipes.

 

Easy and Delicious Turkey Breast

1 turkey breast (may be frozen)

1 15-oz can of whole berry cranberry sauce
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/2 c orange juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
vegetables and potatoes as desired

 

1. Place potatoes (sliced thick or chunked) and/or vegetables in the bottom of a crock pot.
2. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
