Bob created these for our Christmas dinner this year. I thought they were fine, but he thought they needed more garlic. Thus the point six on the recipe.
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
4 peeled all purpose potatoes, cubed
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1/4 c milk
2 tsp butter
Dash of pepper
1. Boil the garlic with the potatoes while they cook to very soft.
2. Drain potatoes.
3. Place potatoes in mixer bowl, and break up with an electric beater.
4. Add milk and butter as above, or to taste and consistency desired.
5. Beat until fluffy.
6.
Test flavor. Add garlic powder if stronger garlic flavor is desired.
