Here is another one of my Grandmother McIntyre's cookies. I think she made these cookies especially for my mother and brother, who were both sensitive to eggs.

Ginger Jumbles (Eggless)
2/3 c sugar
1/2 c molasses
3/4 c lard (margarine)
1 c sour milk, or sweet milk with a T of vinegar stirred in
1 tsp soda in the milk
3 c flour
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1. Mix in the order given
2. Chill an hour.
3. Roll out 1/3 inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
Bake on greased cookie sheets at 350° for about 15 minutes.
