I grew up with grape conserve. My grandfather had concord grapes, my grandmother made grape conserve. My father raised concord grapes, my parents made grape conserve. They usually did the canning together.

We used grape conserve as a jam, always. It, ginger pear, and tomato preserves were my favorite jams. They could also be sweet chutneys.
