My sister, Gail Maggiore, brought this to our Thanksgiving Dinner, and is also going to bring it for Christmas dinner. It makes a nice accompaniment for any heavy meal, or makes a tasty lunch by itself.

No Name Salad

DRESSING

1/2 c honey
1/2 c cider vinegar
3/4 c vegetable oil
1-2 T poppy seeds
coarse ground pepper

Mix all the above ingredients, and refrigerate.

ALSO PREPARE

1 c halved pecans
1 Fuji apple with skin on, diced
1/2 c dried cranberries
6 oz feta cheese, crumbled

Mix all of the above ingredients into the honey dressing.
Chill for 2 hours, or for as long as 24 hours.

WHEN READY TO SERVE

1. Tear up 1-2 bulbs of Romaine lettuce into large bowl.
2. Spoon the dressing over the lettuce and serve.

Gail suggests that you reserve some of the crumbled feta to sprinkle on the top before serving.
