These are my husband's and kids' favorite cookie any time. My copy is a yellowed clipping out of a magazine, with ink notes on it of changes Bob has made in the recipe over the years. Yes, Bob usually makes these cookies. They're one of his specialities.

Amy called a bit ago. She, our other daughter Lisa, and three other family women spent twelve hours yesterday making holiday cookies for the families. Amy says she peeled the foil off 169 Hersey Kisses to make multiple batches of this cookie.

Peanut Butter Blossoms

1 c granulated sugar
1 c packed brown sugar
1 c butter or margarine
1 c creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 c milk
2 tsp vanilla
5 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 10-oz pkgs chocolate kisses

extra granulated sugar

1. Cream sugars, butter, and peanut butter.
2. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla.
3. Sift together flour and soda.
4. Stir into egg mixture.

1. Shape into balls.
2. Roll the balls in additional granulated sugar.
3. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.

4. Upon removal from the oven, immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
